Our summer program has been a great success. We were able to explore Durham Region and the many opportunities this great community has to offer. Our youth enjoyed the summer sports program as they visit different parks in Durham to play soccer, volley ball and touch football. We also had weekly conversation circles and workshops on topics relevant to teenagers and young adults. We travelled to Toronto to see the CN Tower, the Eaton centre and the Science Centre. Our youth also participated in a Dodge ball Tournament against 10 other Youth HOST programs. We had a volunteer appreciation BBQ to recognize our dedicated volunteers. It was a chance for all our volunteers and their matches to meet other people in the program.
