If you are a woman in an abusive situation, WMRCC is here to help you.

Women’s Multicultural Resource and Counselling Centre of Durham is a charitable, community-based women’s organization working from an integrated feminist, anti-racist and anti-oppression perspective.

Our mandate is to reach out to women from diverse cultural, racial and religious backgrounds including youth and children who are experiencing or/are survivors of violence and abuse within Durham Region

We believe that all women regardless of race, cultural and social identity, religion, class, age, ability and sexual orientation should have equal access to community and social services.

WMRCC provides individual counselling, group counselling, referrals, public education, workshops and training and supportive services primarily to women of colour, immigrant and refugee women and children in Durham Region on issues of violence and abuse.
